You have finally decided to capture your special moments with disposable wedding cameras. Think you’re all ready to use it? Here are a few tips for you to make the most out of disposable wedding cameras.
Camera Speed. Most disposable wedding cameras have a speed film of 400. The right speed film depends on action and light. The greater the number, the faster it is for the film to react to light. The recommended speed film for corresponding light conditions are 100 speed for bright sunlight and outdoor shots; 200 speed for indoor with flash and partly sunny outdoors; 400 speed for all-around general use and 800 speed for fast action and low light. A 400-speed film works well in practically all conditions.
Color and Pattern. Make sure that your disposable wedding camera complements the motif of your wedding. Many disposable wedding cameras come in different colors and patterns to match your wedding. Plus, you can also design your own or have it custom made, wherein you can imprint the couple’s photos, wedding date and names.
Colored or Black and White. Compared to Black and White, color film is more affordable and popular. In fact, color film is even better especially that it can capture vivid and vibrant colors and scenery of your wedding. Black and white film on the other hand is more costly but can give a classic touch to your special moment.
Flash or no Flash. It would be wise to go for disposable wedding cameras with a flash to ensure lighting. Especially for daytime weddings, you can never tell how the weather will turn out to be like for your wedding, so it always helps to get efficient lighting when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
15 or 27 Exposure. If your budget permits, you can go for a 27 exposure so you can take as many photos as you want. But if you want to keep it low on your expenses, a 15-exposure camera will do you just fine.
35 mm or APS. A 35mm film is widely popular and can be found just about anywhere and can be developed where film is developed. The APS film is a newer format. It is smaller than a 35mm, so a smaller camera should go along with it too. It also follows index printing, in which you get a sheet of your photos with numbered thumbnails. You only need to indicate the reference of a picture if you want it recopied. An APS film also comes in three picture modes, namely the classic, group and panoramic mode. However, an APS film is more expensive to buy and develop than a 35mm.
Reused or Brand new. Reusing a recycled camera may come with defects, especially if the prices are a bit too good to be true. If you are unsure of the quality of a reused wedding disposable camera, you may opt for a cheap disposable wedding camera instead.
Bu if you want to use brand new ones, you may want to decide how many cams you will need, where and how you will set them in place. You can go for 6pack wedding disposable cameras if you like. In fact buying wedding cameras in packs can actually save you more than when buying cameras individually. Many of these are available in supermarkets and wholesale warehouses such as Costco and Sams.
And as an added bonus, using disposable wedding cameras may spare you from having to wait for the photographer to have your photos developed. Disposable wedding cameras only take an hour to process photos, so you can have all the time to enjoy viewing your precious wedding moments right on your honeymoon.
